Oral Fluid Screening
Concerns about specimen adulteration and unpleasant urine collection have prompted many employers to adopt oral fluid drug testing programs. Substances of abuse, including alcohol, can be detected in oral fluid, just as they can in urine or hair.

Advantages of oral fluid testing include:

Hair Testing
Hair testing is increasingly becoming the testing technology of choice for many corporate drug testing programs.

Studies comparing positivity rates in hair versus urine indicate that employers can detect nearly twice as many drug users before making a hiring decision. For some drug categories, the positive hit rate is much higher.

Additional advantages of hair testing over urinalysis include:
