Security

Security is of the utmost importance to HRPLUS.  We take considerable measures to ensure data security and to protect the privacy of our clients and their applicants and employees.

Web Security
The HRPLUS secure web site is protected by 128-bit encryption over SSL using a Thawte digital certificate and a username and password combination is required for access to the platform. HRPLUS does not issue company-wide access to its online systems; a username and password is assigned to each client user according to HRPLUS security guidelines. These restrictions allow HRPLUS to monitor and control system access.

Network Security
HRPLUS uses Cybertrust Certification as a tool to virtually eliminate security risk, to identify and mitigate security concerns and to provide expert knowledge and guidance in the security field. Cybertrust Corporation runs the Cybertrust Certification program, a third-party certification that performs quarterly network scans of HRPLUS’ network and makes annual visits to ensure that HRPLUS systems meet Cybertrust security criteria. Quarterly scans identify and resolved any potential security issues.

HRPLUS’ systems were immediately approved for certification following the initial network scan and onsite inspection in February 2000, and HRPLUS has passed every subsequent scan and onsite visit with its Cybertrust Certification intact. Our systems continue to meet all of the Cybertrust guidelines.

Cybertrust has been in business since 1989 and is recognized as a worldwide leader in Internet security. HRPLUS’ relationship with a third-party certification program like Cybertrust complements our company’s comprehensive security approach. Cybertrust Certification helps HRPLUS maintain consistent industry standard “best practice” security measures.

Physical Security
The HRPLUS corporate office site utilizes strict physical security measures, including biometric scanning for access to the technology and file storage areas of the facility. Paper files are only accessible to senior personnel and storage facilities remained locked at all times.
